Risk Disclosure

Pre-launch placeholder · Last updated 30 April 2026

Read before staking. AurumOracle markets carry a real risk of total loss. This page is the working version of our risk notice and will be expanded ahead of mainnet.

You can lose everything you stake

All stakes on prediction markets, short-duration markets and high/low markets resolve to a binary outcome (or no settlement at all if a market is voided). If your prediction is wrong, your full stake is forfeited to the winning side and the protocol fee. Do not stake funds you cannot afford to lose.

Market resolution risk

Smart-contract risk

The Algorand contracts powering AurumOracle have been audited internally and subjected to public test traffic, but no audit eliminates all risk. Bugs, exploits and unforeseen edge cases may result in loss of funds. The contracts are non-upgradeable except for explicit pause/migration paths described in the audit report.

Operational and infrastructure risk

Volatility

Precious metals prices move quickly. Short-duration markets (3 minutes to 1 hour) can swing dramatically on news, geopolitical events or macro data. Slippage between your decision and on-chain confirmation is your risk to bear.

Regulatory risk

Prediction markets, derivatives and wager-style products are regulated differently across jurisdictions. AurumOracle does not actively serve restricted territories; it remains your responsibility to confirm legality in your location. Restrictions or new requirements may be introduced at any time.

Token risk

AI Insight risk

AI-generated commentary, prediction streams, and market analysis are educational and illustrative only. Models hallucinate. Models are not aware of breaking news. Models can be confidently wrong. Do not place stakes solely on AI output.

Tax risk

Gains, losses, and the in-kind value of NFD or token receipts may have tax implications in your jurisdiction. We do not provide tax forms. Keep your own records.
